Evonik recently launched the 2nd “Evonik Idea Contest” among Chinese university students, to spur innovation thinking and provide a platform for young people to show their creative ideas. The contest also shows chemical industry’s contribution to sustainable development, hence to promote the overall image of the whole industry.
The contest is open to master or doctor students to participate with interdisciplinary team of three to five people. It is important that the participants propose their new ideas based on chemical materials or technologies which provide solutions to the challenges given. Winner will not only receive up to RMB 20,000 cash reward to support their research, but also enjoy the green channel to Evonik campus recruiting and internship opportunity.
We call for registration for 2015 Evonik Idea Contest from 01 June. In line with the trend of urbanization, this year’s topic will be focused on solutions to green construction achieved by smart materials. We welcome students majored in architecture, chemicals, materials and etc. to join the contest to present your innovative ideas.
The 1st Evonik Idea Contest was held last year. It themed with “Seeking Innovative Solutions to Environmental Problems in China” and attracted nearly 600 students from over 60 universities and institutes across 20 provinces or cities in China. The winning team came from the East China University of Science and Technology with the solution on water treatment.
