Price Increase for VISIOMER® Methacrylate Monomers

Evonik Industries, one of the world’s leading suppliers of methacrylate chemicals, will raise the prices of its VISIOMER® Methacrylate Monomers.
The new pricing structure applies to customers in the Asia Pacific region.

Effective March 15, 2011, as far as permissible under existing agreements, the prices will be increased by the levels indicated below:

VISIOMER® Methyl Methacrylate + 200 $ / mt
VISIOMER® Methacrylic Acid + 250 $ / mt
VISIOMER® Butyl Methacrylate + 300 $ / mt
VISIOMER® Hydroxy Esters + 300 $ / mt
VISIOMER® Application Monomers + 300 $ / mt

The price increase is caused by massive changes of raw material costs.
