Automotive Industry Team

The automotive industry is a key industry for Evonik. Evonik is involved in many aspects of car components and modules, ranging from specialty chemicals for manufacturing fuel-efficient tires, high-performance polymers for fuel and coolant hoses, and oil additives to interior and exterior plastic components and scratch-proof and glossy coatings.

The Automotive Industry Team (AIT) of Evonik was founded in 2004 as a cut surface to the Original Equipment Manufacturers. With regional presence in Europe, China, Japan, South Korea, India, USA and Brazil, the regional AIT members coevally are the local contacts for OEMs. The AIT core team coordinates all internal and external activities. We are determined to push on new material concepts in the automotive industries and boost the necessary innovation speed.
